Dr Goh is a general practitioner who co-founded HealthServe. He is also one of the founders of Linking Hands, a platform that establishes a membership database of voluntary medical professional healthcare workers, and partners them with international healthcare and humanitarian agencies. Apart from volunteering with the Muhammadiyah Welfare Home and Operation Mobilisation in East Asia Pacific (Relief and Development), Dr Goh is also the chairman of Operation Mobilisation’s ministry – Mercy Teams International. For his contribution to humanitarian work and social service, Dr Goh was awarded the Healthcare Humanity Awards in 2015 and SMA Merit Award in 2018. Together, HealthServe and Dr Goh were awarded The Straits Times Singaporean of the Year in 2017.
He keeps a regular rhythm of rest, reflection and work and thoroughly enjoys engaging millennials over a good cappuccino.

Chia Lin has been engaged in economics and finance for more than 30 years. She is director of investment holding company Lam Soon Cannery Private Limited. Chia Lin is also a Board director of Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Limited. She was previously the Chief Investment Officer of Fullerton Fund Management Company and Managing Director and Head of Currency and Strategy at Temasek Holdings. Prior to joining the Temasek Group, Chia Lin had also worked at ABN AMRO Bank and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Chia Lin is active in the social service sector. She is Vice President of the National Council of Social Service, Chairman of HealthServe and a board member of Mount Alvernia Hospital and Resilience Collective. She also serves on the boards of several charitable foundations and is a member of the Mapletree CSR Board Committee.
Chia Lin has a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
Chia Lin is married, with a son. She loves eating and cooking, appreciates Chinese tea and indulges in collecting old Indonesian textiles.

Assoc Prof Jeremy Lim is director for global health in the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, and leads the initiatives in health systems strengthening, financing and universal health coverage. He brings diverse and unique perspectives having spent substantial time in public and private healthcare across Asia as well as in policy advisory with Singapore’s Ministry of Health, the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and the World Health Organisation. Jeremy is also co-founder and CEO of AMILI, the region’s first precision gut microbiome start-up.
Outside academia, Jeremy serves on the boards of various for-profit and not-for-profit organisations in different aspects of healthcare including end-of-life care and digital health interventions. He trained in surgery and public health, attaining post-graduate qualifications in both the UK and US.
Jeremy is married to a fellow doctor, and they have 3 children. He enjoys long walks, good food and discovering new cities.

Adjunct Assistant Professor Chan Lai Gwen completed her medical training in the National University of Singapore and University of Toronto and is a certified Psychiatrist in the public sector, with special clinical and research interests in patients with concurrent neurological and psychiatric conditions, such as in Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury and HIV.
She is also actively involved in voluntary work, being a Board member of HealthServe and the St-John’s-St Margaret’s Nursing Home, as well as conducting and facilitating Marriage Preparation Courses for St John’s-St Margaret’s Church. She also co-leads a church cell group together with her husband. As a passionate advocate for mental health, she also gives various public talks in church and secular settings on mental health issues. She won the Healthcare Humanitarian Award for her work.

Peng Wah’s 38-year career in Finance spans across Singapore, New York and Hong Kong with Citibank, Deutsche Asset Management, Prudential Asset Management, Fullerton Fund Management and Harvest Global Investments. With a Master’s in Business Administration from McGill University, Peng Wah is married with 2 children.

Eugene is the Founding Lead of E3TWENTY, an Organisational Leadership Coaching Collaborative. He believes that one of the greatest impact we can make on the future is to invest generously in Next Generation Leadership. These values were shaped and grounded through his many years of engagement in the social service sector both locally and internationally.
Eugene was a practicing architect for ten years, before heeding his life’s call to be an “architect of lives”. In 1992 he helped set up TOUCH Community Services and served as its first Executive Director from 1992 – 2016. Following which he took up appointment as CEO TOUCH International from 2016-2020.
He contributes his time and resources to a wide range of Non-Profit Boards including the National Council of Social Services, The Majurity Trust and TOUCH Community Services. He also serves as Board Advisor to the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre, Koinonia Inclusion Network, Radion International and Relief Singapore.
In recognition of his efforts in the community, he was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) National Day Awards 2005 and the Public Service Star (BBM) National Day Awards 2020.
Eugene and his wife Julie have 3 adult children, 2 daughters-in-law and 3 grandchildren.

Gail Lien has been active in the philanthropic and social sector for about 20 years. She is a governor of the Lien Foundation and a board member of Healthserve. She previously served on the fund-raising committees of Dover Park Hospice and Vision Fund, the micro finance arm of World Vision Singapore.
Gail began her career as an investment analyst in Hong Kong and moved subsequently into advertising with Bates Worldwide. Motherhood led her to give up full time work in favour of raising a family. Gail has a BSc Econs (Hons) in International Trade and Economic Development from the London School of Economics and post graduate qualifications in Education, Theology and Alternative Medicine. More recently, she completed an executive programme on Women’s Leadership Development with the Oxford Said Business School. Gail is married, with three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis and a good word game.

Serene has spent more than 20 years of her professional career in the Finance Industry – JP Morgan, ABN Amro, Coutts, and more recently, as a Director at Credit Suisse and Senior Director with J. Safra Sarasin. The last 15 years were spent in the Wealth Management division of the banking institutions.
She worships at Christ Methodist Church and is actively involved in church work. A former Treasurer, Finance Chairperson and Associate Lay Leader, she is currently the Chairperson of the Local Church Executive Board (LCEC) and sits on various working committees.
She is adventurous and an avid traveler. A former school athlete, she still swims, cycles, runs and takes part in various races. This she says, is to counter her penchant for cooking and good food.
Serene is married. The couple go on various mission trips together.

Susan is a practicing lawyer with more than 30 years and is recognized as a leading practitioner in the areas of Banking and Finance, Real Estate, Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital Markets by Chambers Global, IFLR 1000, AsiaLaw and Euromoney Legal Group Guide. She is currently the Managing Partner of Q.E.D. Law Corporation, a boutique law practice, which she co-founded in 2015.
On the corporate experience front, Susan has served as independent director in many public and private companies across sectors and in different jurisdictions, including banking, education and real estate and professional services. She is currently an independent director of SBS Transit Ltd.
On the non-profit front, Susan has volunteered with HealthServe periodically since 2014 and joined the Board in 2017. She also Chairman of the Board of STPI, an art institution under MCCY.
