HealthServe with the support of Barclays has been helping migrant workers who are unable to pay their rents because of various reasons. In the last few months there has been an increase in the number of brothers who come to HealthServe applying for aid. With our rental programme we can support special pass holders like Mr A and B who came to Singapore and worked for no longer than 1 month before hearing the news that their employers were unable to pay them their salary. Without a job, Mr A and Mr B spend their days in a limbo, not knowing what they can do and not knowing what is next for them. These are just some of the obstacles migrant workers must face due to the repercussions of the pandemic here in Singapore.
