Hopeful for his case to be resolved

MS, who was used to having six seasons in Bangladesh, was surprised to see that the weather here is the same everyday. But, having worked as a fish farmer and a garment maker prior to construction, he was good at adapting. He’s been in Singapore for 2 years now, and not only enjoys the weather, but how clean and safe it feels here. He was also very happy to earn money to send back to his family, especially since his father became very ill once MS left Bangladesh.

However, all of this changed last January, when MS suffered an accident at work that left him not only unable to work, but unable to walk to his third floor apartment. He only received limited medical care after his employer made him sign forms to cancel his neurosurgeon appointments. Homeless and without hope, a migrant brother gave him a card for HealthServe.

For over a year, he has been getting assistance from HealthServe in the form of meals, shelter, and case management. He is extremely thankful for the assistance, and is hopeful that his case will be resolved soon.
