Dr. Benjamin Kuan

Chief Executive Officer

Joined 1 March 2020

A passionate public health champion for vulnerable low-wage migrant workers, Dr Benjamin Kuan first served as a medical volunteer before he joined HealthServe in 2020. He hit the ground running at the peak of COVID-19 as Head of Medical Services, leading HealthServe’s frontline teams through an unprecedented crisis.

Ben is a strong believer of public-private-people-philanthropy (4P) partnerships for sustainable development to plug societal gaps.

A family physician by training and at heart, he holds an MBA from the joint UCLA-NUS GEMBA programme and a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore.

Prior to joining the social services sector, Ben spent a decade of his professional life with a health technology and medical clinic group that provides managed care and workplace health solutions for ecosystem players.

Outside of work, he is an avid motorcyclist dreaming of riding cross-border someday for a charitable cause. And like many other HealthServe colleagues, Ben loves cats and motorcycles — but not cats on motorcycles.
